1.The Service
Self-Driven Car is a free educational simulator that shows how neural networks evolve with the NEAT algorithm. It is provided as a learning tool, not as a commercial product.
2.Free Usage Limits
To keep the project affordable, each network (IP address) can start 5 training runs per day and 20 per week. The daily limit resets at midnight UTC and the weekly limit on Monday at midnight UTC.
Only a limited number of simulations can run at the same time, and each run is capped in length.
3.Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Try to get around the usage limits, for example by rotating IP addresses or automating requests.
- Overload, probe, or disrupt the servers or the people using them.
- Use the service for anything unlawful.
We may block access that breaks these rules.
4.Availability
The simulation server sleeps when idle and may take a moment to wake up. We may change, pause, or stop the service, or reset stored data, at any time and without notice.
5.Your Runs
You are responsible for anything you type into run names or notes. Your runs are only visible to your trial ID. See the Privacy Policy for how they are stored.
6.Source Code
The source code is published on GitHub. Its use is governed by the license in that repository.
7.No Warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Simulation results are for learning only. See the Disclaimer.
8.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the project and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
9.Changes and Contact
We may update these terms, and the date at the top of the page will show when. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms. For questions, open an issue on the project's GitHub repository.
